The Town of Alberton invites you to attend a Public Meeting for the updated Official Plan and
Development By-law. Public input is an important part of the planning process, and the
municipality wants to hear from community members on how Alberton should grow into the
future.

What is an Official Plan?
An Official Plan is a master land use policy plan that guides the Town of Alberton’s Council in
their decision-making for future growth and development.
What is a Development By-Law?
The Development By-law contains regulations for land use, development standards,
subdivisions, and planning procedures.
To review the Draft Official Plan and Development Bylaw prior to the Public Meeting, please visit
the Alberton Town Hall, located at 3 Emma Drive during regular business hours or on the Town
of Alberton’s website (https://townofalberton.ca/)
