Emergency Management

The Town of Alberton is committed to supporting the safety and well-being of residents, businesses, and visitors during emergency situations. Emergencies may occur with little warning, and preparedness is a shared responsibility between residents and all levels of government.

Reception / Warming Centre

During certain emergency situations such as extended power outages or severe weather events, the Town may open the Reception Centre to provide a safe place for residents to gather or receive services.

  • Generator availability is limited
  • Use is prioritized for critical needs
  • Deployment is coordinated through emergency services and Town officials

Residents should not rely on municipal generators for household use and are encouraged to make personal emergency power plans where possible.

Be Prepared
