Public notice is hereby given to the electors of the Town of Alberton that a Municipal Election will be held on Monday, March 3rd, 2025, to fill the vacant mayoral position for the Town of Alberton for the term of office terminating on the 6th day of December, 2026.
The nomination period for the positions noted above commences on Wednesday, February 5th and closes at 2:00 p.m. on Nomination Day, Friday, February 14th, 2025.
Nominations can be received during office hours at the election office, located at 3 Emma Drive, by the Municipal Electoral Officer or Returning Officer at the following times:
- 8:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. – 3:30 p.m.
- On Nomination Day, February 14th, 2025.
The deadline for correcting elector information shall be no later than 11:59 a.m. on February 18th.
